A massive geek Nick loves nothing more than messing around on the internet when he is not working on world domination. Well he says nothing more but quite frankly he has a few other obsessions as well.
One is Welsh rugby as, like any good welsh man, he is rugby mad - including playing for a rather low ranked team (where he is mocked merciously for his rugby gloves, but in hsi defence it is cold in Wales.
Another obsession of his is losing weight, specifically fat around the middle as he has a bit of a belly. His weight loss efforts have started to take effect but he still need to put far more effort into losing abdominal fat.

I had several problems by downloading files attached to K2 items (Word and Excel file were corrupt). I have fixed this for my client by changing download link to direct link to files. No core file editing needed, just one line in template.

Implementing this code causes the Odd and Even rows to be out of sync.
Joomap also works as it works off the site menu's
My workaround is to not use Extra Fields but use their classes and make my own lists in the Content section.

You may get support from your template developer. It seems I had a similar issue and had it resolved that way. I wish I could remember what the fix was.

Although I can upload larger images, when I do it from the front end, the lightbox window shows the home page within the window (as a copy, not transparent). Screen shot attached.
Increasing the memory_limit helped. I had it at 32 MB which I thought would be more than enough for a single 2 MB file. I have it set to 62 MB and uploading the image now works. It seems a bit excessive for uploading a 2 mb image, though.

Well, you just use k2's login component where there's an 'add link' menulink in the menu when you've logged in. You also need to allow front end adding on a user group.
